What you can expect from workshops and facilitation

Conversations derail quickly without experienced facilitation

Stamey Street offers standalone workshops for organizations to create shared learning experiences to strengthen staff competencies in specific areas. Workshops are best utilized when driven by a clear purpose by organizations (and teams). We offer in-person and virtual options. We also offer self-directed, digital courses as needed for large organizations (500+). At Stamey Street, we believe that attending a workshop is not an end goal.

Instead, it is one step toward giving your staff the tools to do their work more effectively, efficiently and equitably.

Stamey Street offers the following workshops:

  • Beyond Compliance: Strategies to Embed Equity into Your Organization’s HR Department

  • Data Matters: How to Tell Structural Stories

  • How to Use Backmaps in Your Advocacy Work

  • How to Be a Great Facilitator

  • Tools: Using Purpose. Outcome. Process

  • Tools” Getting Started with MOCHA

Thank you all for a terrific workshop. You were fantastic, and you delivered such an interactive session, which is so hard to do on Zoom!

How Clients Use

Here are some of the ways that clients use our Workshops and Facilitation services

  • Clients hire me for a meeting or group facilitation when there are specific objectives to meet.

  • There is a specific skill set and experience needed to navigate internal power dynamics without causing harm.

  • We always say when in doubt, hire an outside person to lead your meeting.

When in doubt, hire someone else to lead your meeting.
