Dr. Joanna Shoffner Scott
Principal and Founder

Joanna Shoffner Scott, Ph.D., is the founder and principal of Stamey Street Consulting Group, where she helps leaders sustain organizations grounded in mission, equity, and systems thinking. Her approach with clients centers on four key areas: Leadership, Values and Identity, Systems and Processes, and Organizational Behaviors. She is a skilled trainer, facilitator, and executive coach. Joanna holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She hosts the Race in the Workplace podcast. Joanna believes that each day offers an opportunity for leaders to make choices that lead to better, stronger organizations.

Anthony Armstrong
Senior Consultant

Anthony Armstrong provides planning, support, facilitation, engagement, and technical assistance for issues related to equitable development, organizational change, and community revitalization policy, projects, and programs. As Co-Founder and Partner at Make Communities, a mission-driven consulting firm based in Buffalo, NY, he works with non-profits, foundations, governments, coalitions, and multi-sector networks to help create accessible, equitable, and empowered communities.

Diane Thompson
Operations Consultant

Diane Thompson is an independent Operations Consultant who helps small business owners plan projects, implement them efficiently, and manage the backend processes integral to running a business. She left her ten-year laboratory science career to start her own business and do what she truly loves: helping other people get organized to do what they do with ease! Diane’s greatest strength is her ability to “catch” an idea and make it a reality.
